What
happens at cbc?
Each
day will begin at 5:00 a.m. with morning exercise, devotion, dorm
/ personnel inspection, and a reveille ceremony before breakfast.
After breakfast, the mornings will be spent in the community conducting
Community Improvement Activities (CIA) such as painting over graffiti,
clearing lots, helping the elderly, etc. After lunch, they will
spend time studying the following subjects:
- In pursuit of Purpose
- Tapping & Releasing
Potential
- Leadership Dynamics
- Conflict Resolution
- Forgiving Fallen Brotherhood
- Celebrating Cultural
Diversity
- Trouble Triangle:
Drugs, Sex, Music
- Relationship &
Fellowship with God
- The Entrepreneur
- Drill & Ceremony
And
many more. Every evening will include a meal, study time,
recreation and devotion. Lights out at 11:00 p.m. Also, included
in the 32 days, is a 4-day survival camping trip in the Hill
Country, designed to mandate teamwork among the trainees. They
will also wash and iron their own clothes. Without question,
these 32 days will change the lives of the trainees forever.
It is passage into Man / Womanhood. An elegant tuxedo / gown
graduation ceremony with a notable keynote speaker will end
this phase of development and training.
What
is the cost of cbc?
The
registration cost of CBC is $500 per person. This cost helps us
to provide the following for your child:
- 3
meals a day for 32 days
- lodging
- transportation
- uniform
rental
- staffing
- study
materials
- most
graduation expenses
It
cost CBC nearly three times as much to provide these services
for your child. Therefore, the following conditions are applicable
where refunds are concerned:
Please
note:
- If
your child is eliminated or does not continue the course, within
the 1st 24 hours, a refund of $200 will be returned to you.
- If
your child is eliminated or does not continue the course after
24 hours, NO REFUND WILL BE GRANTED.
- A
NON-REFUNDABLE Administrative FEE os $100 is included in the $500
registration fee.

Where
is cbc?
- All
camps will be conducted on the grounds of: River City
Christian School
- In
- processing time is 2:00 p.m. sharp on the start day of
each camp!
CBC
is an in - residence course; the trainees will be learning , eating,
and sleeping at River City Christian School during this four and
one half (4 1/2) week period. On Sundays, the trainees will be
attending services various churches through out San Antonio. After
Sunday services, they must go home to be with their families and
return to camp shortly before 9:00 o'clock p.m. (2100 hours) at
which time they will undergo a contraband inspection.
